Deema graduated from Macquarie University in December 2019 with a Bachelor of Arts (Majoring in Gender Studies) and a Bachelor or Laws (Honours). She was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of NSW in August 2020.

Prior to joining Gerard Malouf and Partners, Deema worked at a not-for-profit human rights law firm assisting vulnerable and disadvantaged members of the community through detailed and complex personal injury claims.

Deema joined Gerard Malouf and Partners in June 2020 to develop her passion, knowledge, and experience for personal injury law and to help our clients access and achieve justice. Deema understands that our clients face challenges and difficulties and prioritises developing a good relationship through compassion and consideration.

Deema is assisting one of the firm’s partners, Ms. Richele Nelsen, in Historical Sexual Abuse claims, Public Liability claims, Motor Vehicle Accidents, and Contesting Wills.

In her spare time, Deema enjoys socialising with her family and friends, traveling, and spending time at the beach.
